So what’s the best way to try and recover from a really bad week and lift yourself out of the dumps? You do a bunch of stuff to make other people happy
So I decided to have a little sale for Labour Day weekend. Wasn’t planning on it until 10 minutes ago but I’m spontaneous like that LOL!
I’ve put all the collections (so the big multiple download stuff, not individual packs) and quickpages on sale for 25% off, plus I’m extending the sale on I Met a Boy.
I’m on my way to work (well running late now actually!) so I can’t post pictures or anything. You’ll just have to go browse around the old Studio and see what’s marked down!
Ever have one of those weeks where NOTHING goes right and every stupid little thing that could go bad does? Like I don’t mean super life-altering things. Nobody is dying, I have my health, food to eat, a roof over my head, etc. I just mean regular everyday life things . . I slept through my alarm Monday morning and everything has continued to snowball downhill ever since . . . I’m just a giant snowball of misery tonight LOL!
It just ticks me off because I was getting so good at overcoming times like this. I’ve been practicing the Secret for a while now and it’s totally changed my outlook on life so that I don’t often feel down like this anymore but I don’t know .. . I just hit a brick wall this week.
Anyway. I don’t know why I felt the need to tell that to the world LOL! Well I guess it’s an explanation of why I haven’t posted about my new kit on the blog yet. It’s just been one thing after another so I never got around to it.
Anyway, here it is
Get it for 20% off until Friday, August 31!
As always, each set is available separately but if you buy it all together you save 3.00$ off the total cost of the individual sets.
I’m a little late in posting this but the Funky Train collab kit is now in the shop! And it’s on sale for the first month. It’s regular $15.00 but get it for $ 9.99 with this coupon code:
I actually scrapped with this kit, which is odd for me because I never scrap with my own stuff! Like NEVER! LOL! (although I used lots of the others designers’ contributions so that’s probably why I was able to ;)) I made two layouts:
Another odd thing is that I’m rarely able to stick to just one kit to complete a layout but for these I came pretty darn close. I’m the type that grabs bits and bobs from everywhere! But the only non-Funky Train things above are Michelle Coleman’s stamped alpha in the first, and in the second there is Nancy Comelab’s polaroid cluster and Kate Hadfield’s doodled alpha for the word “goofball”.
So I think the moral of the story is Funky Train is a huge and versatile kit that can be used again and again!
If you’re not convinced, check out what my CT did with it.

So did they totally rock it or what!? I sure think so!
Other than Funky Train I don’t really have any exciting news to report . . . I do have a fun, mini-toot type announcement to make but it’s not happening until September so I’m gonna wait a while before spilling the beans Let’s just say I’m using it as a kick in the pants to get cracking on some new products. I’ve already got one full kit almost done. Wanna see a sneaky peak?
I figured I needed more boy stuff in my store I’ve got a few more things up my sleeve so here’s hoping the creative juices floweth freely over the next few weeks!
Well it’s 8:00 p.m. on Sunday evening here as I type this. That means time to make my lunch for tomorrow and get ready for bed! Have a happy week everyone!
